Hollywood Mural of Classic Movie Stars Defaced

The "You Are the Star" mural at Hollywood Blvd. and Wilcox Avenue in Los Angeles was defaced last night. Vandals sprayed yellow paint over the faces of such classic stars as Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor. 

Robert Mitchum (who's depicted in fifth row, next to Woody Woodpecker) was not affected. 

The mural was featured in the 2016 musical "La La Land" and in such films as 2003's "S.W.A.T."

Several other targets were hit with paint last night on Hollywood Blvd., including Art Linklater's star on the Walk of Fame and the wall of Musso & Frank, Hollywood's oldest restaurant.
